Coaching

Working with an experienced coach can support climbers of all levels to progress healthily and happily. If you are ready to level up your technique, hone your skills, train with purpose, push through a plateau or prepare for an incoming trip, we provide bespoke sessions and training plans built around your goals. â€‹â€‹

Coaching Young Climbers

Our Coaching team has a wealth of experience with young people developing as outdoor climbers, working though the NICAS schemes, and competing from grass-roots to international level.

Coaching for Rock Climbing

Coaching doesn't just have to take place indoors, our team are also available to offer comprehensive support for those looking to improve their confidence or push their grade on real rock, be it trad or sport.

Ad-hoc Coaching Support (2hr session)

1 climber - £80

2 climbers - £50pp

A one-off session with a coach to focus on developing any particular area of your performance, from head game to movement skills & technique.

Everyone can benefit from feedback from an expert coach so even if you’re not on a routine training programme, a session with one of our coaching team will yield some useful results.

2 climbers - £100pp

Join one of our coaches for an in-depth look at your current climbing performance in relation to your goals. We will assess your strengths and weaknesses, and highlight the key areas for development that you should work on in order to make the progress that you want.

The session will include climbing, physical strength and mobility exercises, and some written or conversational questionnaires to help the coach assess all the things that may impact on the achievement of your goals. The coaching team will produce an analysis report, and you will receive feedback on the day from your coach.

Training Programmes

If you’re climbing indoors consistently at least twice a week and want to structure your sessions effectively to get the most out of them, then this is for you! Ideal preparation for a trip away, to keep you fit over the winter season, or to make sure you have the beans to keep pushing your grade.

All our training programmes are written specifically for you and tailored to fit your schedule, although they work best if you can climb on the same days each week.
