Technical Advice

The Mountain Instructor Scheme is Mountain Training UK's highest level of qualification and is recognised as the appropriate level of qualification for giving Technical Advice for climbing, mountaineering and related activities. Climb Cornwall has additional expertise relating to indoor/artificial climbing walls and Paraclimbing Activities.

Climb Cornwall offers Technical Advice services for mountaineering, hill walking, rock climbing, and other related activities as defined by the Adventure Activity Licensing Regulations.

Initial meeting and assessment

Due to the individual nature of all Technical Advisor work, Climb Cornwall would like to complete an initial consultation and assessment with you to determine your needs and what services we can assist you with.

Consultancy & Staff Training

Technical Advisors can also provide in-house training, CPD, and endorsements for staff; equipment and facility inspections; risk assessment, policy and opperating procedure advice; as well as additional services and expertise.
